There are many things we can contribute to society and, when skill and passion collide, we begin a journey that the Japanese describe as ikigai (生き甲斐): "a reason for being". My ikigai was formed in a collision between styled photography and the beauty of humanity in its many contexts and forms. Wonder and mystery can be lost in a binary and industrialised world. Through styled photography, I explore the beauty and significance of the subjects of my work. For me, it's so much more than 'taking a photo'. It's about capturing and interpreting the inherent beauty in concepts, people, events, landscapes and fleeting moments in time.

Simply put,

I love what I do.
